While a funeral is an important, practical, formalised process for honouring the life of – and bidding farewell to – a loved one upon their death, it just as importantly provides a way to acknowledge a death, share memories of the deceased, celebrate and honour the life of someone who has died and provide support for your family and friends left behind.
At the time of arranging a funeral service there are several decisions to be made including: whether the funeral service is to be religious or secular (depending on the beliefs and wishes of the deceased and their family and friends), the time and location of the funeral, whether the deceased is to be buried or cremated, whether there will be viewings, eulogies, refreshments. It may seem a daunting task to make so many decisions at such a time but we will guide you through the process, always keeping in mind your preferences and requirements.
Our aim is to ensure that, as far as we are able, your bereavement – something most of us experience at some stage in our lives – is made as bearable as can be reasonably expected in the circumstances. Our fully trained staff provide caring and highly competent assistance and we can be contacted day or night, every day of the year.
We encourage you to contact us at anytime to discuss any matters referred to here.
