what beautiful memories you leave behind.
You may have left this world behind,

With tears we saw you suffer,
We watched you fade away,

A wonderful Mother/Father laid to rest.
For each of us she/he did her/his best.
Her/His life was good,
Her/His heart was kind
A better Mother/Father no one could find.
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in the house,
That never can be filled.
Mum/Dad, the Lord stood by your bed,
And saw your suffering face,
To save you from more suffering and all that seemed unfair,
He put His arms around you and took you in His care.
A heart of gold stopped beating,
Your smiling eyes at rest,
God broke my heart to prove He only takes the best.
We could not say our last farewells
Or even say goodbye.
You were gone before we knew
And only God knows why.
Loving and kind in all his/her ways,
Upright and good till the end of his/her days.
Sincere and true in heart and mind
Beautiful memories left behind.
Thank you for a lifetime of memories,
For your love, kindness, help and encouragement.
He/She potters no more in the garden,
He/she strolls no more down the path,
